From a young age we are told that pancakes are a treat meal, often topped with ice cream and unhealthy syrups and filled with unnecessary sugars. We want to let you know that pancakes don't need to be a treat meal, as they can contain a load of healthy substitutions and can be very high in protein.
We have created a list of delicious and guilt free pancakes for your everyday diet... 

Protein punch

Ingredients: (serves one, makes roughly 2-3 pancakes)

Half cup of Wholemeal flour (can substitute for other flours)

1 cup of Non-dairy Milk (coconut, almond, rice) 

1 scoop Vanilla / chocolate protein powder

Half tsp Ground cinnamon 

Half cup of quick oats (can use steel cut oats, rolled oats) 

1 Banana

Handful of Frozen berries

Handful of Dark Chocolate Chips

Honey / Agave / topping of choice



Mash half of the banana into a bowl, stirring in the oats

Add flour, milk, protein powder, choc buds and cinnamon, mix until smooth batter

Place onto non stick fry pan, cook until golden brown

Top with half of banana, frozen berries, topping of choice


Peanut Butter Nutella pancake


2 ripe Bananas

4 Eggs

2 tbsp Peanut Butter (or any nut butter)

1 tsp Ground cinnamon 

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1 tbsp Nutella


Mix all ingredients into bowl

Place onto non stick fry pan, cook until golden brown

Spread Nutella in between layers of pancakes

Heat peanut butter in microwave to drizzle on top for presentation

Blueberry Chia pancake 


1/4 cup Blueberries

1 tsp Baking soda

Half cup Wholemeal flour (can substitute for other flours)

Half cup Non-Dairy Milk (coconut, almond, rice)

2 Eggs

2 tbsp Chia seeds

2 tbsp Honey


Combine flour and baking soda in a bowl

Add eggs, honey and milk and whisk everything together

Stir in chia seeds by hand

Place onto non stick fry pan, cook until golden brown

Top pancakes with yogurt and blueberries
