3 bad teeth habits you need to ditch

Our teeth are something that we never really think to pamper on the daily but the truth is, we should be! 

Here are three bad teeth habits that you should ditch, like, yesterday. 

1. Chewing on ice cubes

Tooth enamel is a crystal. Ice is a crystal. When you push two crystals against each other, one will break. Most of the time its the ice that breaks but sometimes the tooth or a filling will break!

TIP: Drink chilled beverages without ice, or use a straw so you're not tempted. The risk of chewing ice is greater than any pleasure that comes from chewing it, especially if you have sensitive teeth!  

2. Fruit juice 

Fruit juice is loaded with vitamins and antioxidants, but unfortunately most juices are also loaded with sugar. Some juices can have as much sugar per serving as soda.
For example, there are only 10 more grams of sugar in orange soda than in orange juice. Fruits are naturally sweet, so look for juice that has no added sugar or vegetable based ones are a good option too!

TIP: You can also reduce the sugar content by diluting juice with some water.

3. Coffee

Coffee's dark colour and acidity can cause yellowing of the teeth over time. Fortunately, it's one of the easiest stains to treat with our whitening method.
